“FARMING WIVES” IS RELEASED TO ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS
It was nice over the last few weeks to make sure that subscribers got a taste of what’s to come but I’ve been keeping this one in my back pocket. Co-written with my wife, Belle Plaine, “Farming Wives” shines some light on the matriarchs of the family. All too often our mother’s roles are taken for granted, especially when it comes to keeping the family farm operating. The first single off this record is dedicated to our mothers, my sisters and my sister-in-law and Grandma Laila. Farming wives are farmers.
“FARMING WIVES” MUSIC VIDEO IS RELEASED TO YOUTUBE
I finally got to collaborate with my mom and cast her and her crew for this video. Not to mention my sister-in-law, Brittany doing cattle work and my sister, Jody taking the crop off. It was literally as easy as showing up at the ranch with the camera and asking what they were up to for the day. Mighty thanks to little jack films for all his video magic.
WWW.WESTERNSEER.COM IS LIVE
“Western Seer is the definitive representation of the catalogues, collaborations and visions of founders, Belle Plaine and Blake Berglund. Through its records, productions and apparel, Western Seer is a handcrafted curation and artistic extension into industry. The Western Seer family also includes visual creator, little jack films and rural songwriter, Lachlan Neville.”
Western Seer is going to be an evolving vision of goodness and right now, I’m just pumped at how tight e-commerce integrates into our streaming platforms. The new store is stocked up with merch and ready to be shipped.

P.S. For real, thanks for doing this alongside me.
Very nice video, Blake. I also received your Album. Thank you! I no longer have a turntable, but i will get my son to play it on his. My hearing is also not the best. Damage from my farming days I think, from back when one did not wear any protection. Drove our IHC 660 for several days when it had blew the muffler and we were waiting for a new one to come into Kennedy. Also all kinds of other noise on a farm. I did read all your words in your songs. A lot is being said there. Good Job!
